WELDER FABRICATOR

At Burmarrad Group, we are seeking to employ on full-time basis a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team.

The Welder Fabricator will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and installing vehicle bodies and components according to specifications and safety standards. This role requires precision, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and assemble vehicle bodies using various materials such as steel, aluminium, and composites.
• Cut, shape, and weld metal components to construct vehicle frames, panels, and structures.
• Utilize hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment, to complete fabrication and assembly tasks.
• Perform quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with safety standards and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or defects in vehicle body construction, including structural integrity, alignment, and functionality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance.

 

Requirements:

• Diploma, Vocational training or certification in welding, fabrication, or automotive technology preferred.
• Proven experience in vehicle body building, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Good communication in both spoken Maltese and English languages.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools, as well as welding equipment and machinery.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also contributing to a team environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to vehicle construction and manufacturing.
• Experience operating heavy machinery, such as forklifts, cranes, and hoists.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills through on-the-job training and continuing education opportunities.
