The Car Park Attendant is responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the car park. The role includes assisting customers, monitoring vehicle movement, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that parking rules and safety standards are followed at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet customers in a professional and friendly manner, while following guidelines.
  • Provide information regarding vehicle features, return process and requirements, and advice on local traffic and parking regulations.
  • Inquire about customer satisfaction and document feedback.
  • Inspect incoming vehicles for damages, complete thorough vehicle inspections, and ensure that vehicles meet prescribed requirements.
  • Identify and report damages, vehicle malfunctions, wear and tear, inventory discrepancies, delayed returns, and other operational issues as per company procedures.
  • Organize and position vehicles within the parking areas, coordinate vehicle movements and washing schedules, and assist in maintaining parking availability and fleet readiness for upcoming rentals.
  • Drive and park vehicles to car wash facilities and other locations as required.
  • Manage vehicle keys, accessories, operational equipment, and supplies in accordance with company procedures, including shift handovers and operational communication updates.
  • Keep parking areas clean, organized, and operationally ready for ease of access and traffic flow.
  • Assist in the preparation and cleanliness of vehicles and rental accessories prior to customer rental.
  • Follow and adhere to specific quality procedures, policies, and guidelines, including health & safety as established by the company.
  • Makes proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by the company.
  • Undertakes training provided by the company as required.
  • Any other miscellaneous duties assigned by the Branch Manager.

Requirements:

  • Valid driving licence
